Do you guys purposely go on RC and your staff account to make your pw look like it has people on it?

The top part are andor staff. What do you guys do on there anyway? You have like 7 players and 9-10 staff. :p

It's like you keep all the staff online so that when stefan looks on the server list he says "oh andor, they have nearly 20 people on.. no need to remove them" :rolleyes:

its a pretty good playerworld... staff are fast and actually do there job.

Because it's easy when you only have 7 people bugging you, with ten staff on.

LOL that's funny.. I got on and immediately see a mass message about one of the 7 players complaining that the staff are speed hacking.

Andor would be good if it wasn't copying 2k1 with so much stuff and they actually had content and quests.

That should happen to all the servers because they all copy one another, maybe not with the same exact thing, but with the general ideas.

I just don't see why most the p2p pw's (or all of them) have to have hat's, and pets, and mining/fishing/farming. Can't you people be original? Why must you use everything from 2k1 on some level generated world and call that a great playerworld? The only semi-original thing on andor that I have seen is berry picking, and that's another job where you basically press a button over and over, so it's not much of an improvement.

At least if you're going to copy something, make it better. Like fishing for example.. faheria's is better with the more realistic stuff like line breaking (which at the moment doesn't seem to actually affect your rod or line buy I guess it might soon) it gets boring only because you just cast your line and reel it in and 95% of the time you get a fish.. and it's impossible to catch the fighters because no matter how hard you try to reel them in without them breaking the line, they either escape, or your line breaks. The farming on faheria is neat I suppose.. except it really wasn't working when I tried it (the plants never grew)

Mining on andor is retarded.. gee.. stand in front of a rock and pick at it with your d button until it's gone.. where is that from? hmm I wonder.. :rolleyes:

You don't even have to blow them out of the wall, they just magically appear on the ground. Here is a tip on making "jobs" for your pw.. do not make jobs that are not really fun to do.

Like I mentioned to some 2k1 staff.. jobs need to be fun, and they don't even have to pay out much.. people complain because jobs are so boring, but I bet if they were a lot funner, people wouldn't mind that the profit was lower. Instead of just having a "tap the button" job.. make something where you have to move around... where thinking is involved, and maybe even teamwork.

Whoa konidias, i always liked reading your opinions on the fourms and stuff, but i think this one really sucks. Dont flame a PW, if you dont like it, who cares let it do its stuff.

Well personally I like andor, I work there...however I don't see why for some reason non-p2p worlds besides 2k1 have no players, I guess its probably due to the popularity of g2k1, and the cheapness of other servers...

how many hearts?
how many npc's?
how many quests?
etc, etc.....

Konidias, I am absolutely to the point where I no longer worry about what you think. All you do is complain about every little thing you can find to complain about, and I haven't the time nor the patience to continually listen to it. I have been gone for a month. Not much in the way of productivity has taken place during my absence, but now that I am back, rest assured that things ARE in the making.
I don't understand why you find it necessary to constantly say things in an effort to get my server taken down. Even like it is now, (which it won't be for much longer), it is not hurting you or anyone else, and it certainly is not getting in the way of other playerworlds being put up. It's basically an issue of "Oh, here's something I can do to create problems where there don't need to be any."
Slowly but surely, things will start to unfold. We are working on quests right now, which should be out within the next week, and we are working on other projects which will be released as time goes on. With your support or without it, we will succeed, because I will not allow anything else to happen.

Andor is the p2p server whit the most players
(yes, players not staff) and i like that server :)

I complain on his tileset? I point out errors, it's called constructive criticism. I don't go around making threads about servers that should be shut down, and I never complain until people like Konidias post all these bogus threads or post something like this in a thread.

Um, where did I say "ANDOR NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!" I did not say that, I was just asking why there are so many staff that they have more staff then players, and that even with all the staff, nothing seems to be happening.

Oh yeah Shadrock, you take constructive criticism like it's the end of the world. You get enraged when someone mentions one little thing about Faheria, even contstructive things. Like when we argued over aim about our graphic skills.. you flat out said that you were a better artist then me, and when you showed me art and I said I didn't think it was that good, you flip out and hate me for life.

Maybe you should take your own advice and chill out. You may not have directly said "Andor should be shut down" But what other reason would this thread be made? This is insulting to Andor, end of story. I messaged you on AIM because you were calling TrueHeaT's graphics crap, you said "I refuse to respect your graphics if you can't have respect for mine" And what you showed me wasnt good, I didnt flip out either, when you said that remark I simply said "Fine" and got offline. I think you're the one who needs to get your head out of your "anus".

Total BS shadrock. I showed you some of my art and then you proceeded to show me some of yours and trueheats art and clearly stated that the art you showed me was better then mine. That is when I said if you don't have respect for my work I don't have respect for yours. You were very straightforward in saying that you and trueheat had better skills in making graphics than me.

Oh, and if you CANNOT READ I mentioned the reason this thread was made. It was not made to be an insult to andor, this thread is only a question (why hasn't anything been happening on andor) and a suggestion (stray away from using 2k1 ideas) Just stop arguing with me over it because you know that you are wrong about the reason this topic was made and you're doing everything you can not to look stupid.

And yet you had to start some thread like this instead of asking a question which could be answered in 5 seconds from one of the staff on the server? Oh and just so you know, I messaged you asking you why you hated TrueHeaT's graphic and you made some excuse up like it looks like cardboard or something, then I asked you to show me something better and you showed me a tileset you were working on which was no more than a small editing of the regular tileset, I said I liked the grass trails but the rest needed work, then you called me biased.

Just because I made one friggin post a while ago about what servers I think should be removed, you think every topic I put here about another server is me wanting it removed. This is not the case, and I was just stating my opinion to begin with, I don't see what the big deal is, it wasn't like I was getting the playerworlds removed, I was just stating why I felt they didn't need to be up, and hopefully trying to motivate some of the pw owners to do something.

This topic was honestly and truely not meant to be a topic aimed at getting Andor shut down.. you twisted it all around into something it's not. :(
