saveinfo
I've heard this (saveinfo) is used to save stuff to a database which can later be read by a website (I think the event announcement thing used this but I don't know)
How would I use this and access it from a site? Or is it only allowed to be used by high admins? |
I've only heard of savelog and savelog2, though those save to a textfile and not to the database.
Well it could very simple be done by opening a php with ?data=playerrupees...not tough at all...is this even what you are asking?
No, I'm talking about using that command (saveinfo) I think its in that scripting list that Stefan posted on the NPC Scripting forum
There is a command like that & there is a script some where on the graal site that will read that... tho i dont remember the URL
i wish i knew what that URL was :(
There is savelog2 file,data;. It seems to be there to put that text into the file, so maybe you could chmod the file on a ftp and update it like that? savelog2 ftp://user:[email protected]/to/folder/,words...;
Yeah, the website announcement thing used savelog.
Thats pretty spiffy...
Man, I can't wait to use that on a few things, keep some csf (Comma Separated Files) and than read them back with like PHP or CGI. :) This is going to be fun. :p

saveinfo key,value
was saving stuff into database, it was only enabled for Graal2001 and is currently not used |
