He didn't hack people over AIM, he just send Trojans and people were stupid enough to trust it since there originally was one person they knew who accepted, thus making someone else use that one account etc.

Yeah, he tried to send me the trojan over aim on James's aim name, luckily I was smart at the time(one of my very few moments) and said I wouldnt accept it. He kept trying but I kept refusing, I am proud of myself.
