Graal Forums - The Village Of Gendlin...

Once apon a time, a long, long time ago there lived a small group of quiet farmers in a beautiful village called Gendlin. They were very poor but they somehow managed to live happily with each other. Day by day, their leader would call onto a new exiting event to keep them entertained and close to each other.

The word of this paradise got around to other villages and the more well-off people gave up their luxury of money to join the happy villagers of Gendlin. Slowly their small village grew bigger and bigger, meeting new people, making new friends. Their village grew to a town, their town to a city.

After some time had passed the quiet village that had started was no more. There were five or more people to each house and they were living in cramped conditons to say the least. As Gendlin grew, people became more bored and irritated. Their leaders tried to introduce new events but there were just too many inhabitants by that time and they began to rebel.

Noticing the anger in the new arrivals; the evil overlord, Masuji, decided to collect up their hatred into one spot and then increase it thousands of times over into their bodies. Many of the rebelians fell victim to the evil that was now roaming through the land. Each of the infected rebelians often felt the need to act out an evil forbidding. Only a few people resisted the force of Masuji, these people were the only reminence of the village that once was. These were the original inhabitants of Gendlin.

After trying hard to turn back the evil rebelians without luck they decided to gather up what possesions they had left and leave the great city. One-by-one they sneaked out without much of a goodbye. Some tried to leave the city but failed because they were too reluctant to leave loved ones who had been turned.

The ones who made it out did love a long life but without the fun they once had. Many decided to return to the outskirts of the city where it was safe in groups. From where they would stand at night and all they would see and hear was crying and hurt where there had once been the most peaceful city of Gendlin.
