Colors

ok im making a doodle board for people to play around with. if i have the img attached below would there be a way for me to make the color of the pen change to the color that the person clicks on?

Your best bet would be to use arrays most likely. |
keep a variable or two for the x and y of the pen, then use arrays for the colors, when they press d or whatever in one of the colors, change the color to the one selected, etc, etc

Yea i figured that...just didnt want to script it and mess it up...been off of graal for a month....forgot some stuff...;-\

There, unfortunately, is no mouse support in Graal outside of the Editor CNPCs (For as far as I am aware). However keeping track of the x,y position of a customly scripted cursor and making it send a trigger to the NPc it comes from with the x,y location could be a reasonably effective way.

I'd rather type on my keyboard, [Tab] **COLOR** [Enter] [Tab] rather than going straight to the mouse in gameplay. ;)

couldn't he code it so that if the player clicks on an open level nothing happens but if it is on a showimg or somet else then it would work? i mean he already has that for the weapons screen |
