*New Command*

There needs to be a new commands that speeds up gani through the server itself. for example

NPC Code:

setganieffect gani-name ,speed ;

maybe it can be even narrowed down to the frames speed through the server. Is this a good idea or no?

It should indeed. It's script-related, but it won't get seen here anyway.

Yes it would be very helpful if you have the characters walking speed up or slow down when carrying stuff, it looks kind of funny having them walk at normal speed while moving on the level really slow.

Yeah you could have like stamina..=)

Sounds like a good command, would be useful. Maybe also do something like this instead.
NPC Code:

setganispeed frames/sec;

that way you could set it for all ganis, like it would apply for walk too...

gani zoom would be fun, too bad it would really only work for 3d cards =\

There are TONS of posts on this in the main forum

Tyhm 02-22-2002 05:49 AM

I thought Stefan worked out the maths for it to work sans 3D cards? *shrugs* If it's a straight base-2 zoom it shouldn't be a problem - if it's x2, just stretch the matrix, if it's /2, just cut out every other row and every other column...
