Disable (R) &&....

We need a disable r key and we also need a keydown key for r. Maybe a disable and keydown for the map as well. More or so on the R side. Vote now, NEW COMMANDS FOR R!

Falcor 02-18-2002 02:25 AM

we also should be able to disable the P key aswell as the M key.
Since obviously no more keys will be added.

zell12 02-18-2002 05:32 AM

We need alot of things, but, Stefan doesn't LISTEN to us

The only thing I use R for is seeing if people are hidden =/ I dont see any use of disabling it

Stefan simply sees things in a different way to us. We want to create new and unique worlds that branch away from the standard Graal dynamic, but he likes to keep everything in the traditional theme. You can't say either of us is inherently right, and he's the programmer so we just go with the flow.

Lomgren 02-18-2002 06:50 AM

From what I hear Stefan also wants to 'publish' graal onto like Nintendo or whoever, so there wouldn't be much use for all those extra keydowns.

[Idea]
make sparringzones automatically disable pause!
and maybe also map!
[/Idea]

Poor, poor kid

Lomgren 02-18-2002 10:58 AM

[Sarcasm]
YaY!! Ima kid now,
oh, but could you tell me where I found
the fountain of youth, since I seem to not remember
using it?!
[/Sarcasm]

I couldn't help but notice that you're younger than my little brother...

Um.. it would still require a keyboard to chat if it was online.

o yes i can see it now

either:
Graal be on NES, with 8 bit graphics

or either:
The Adventures of Mr. Stefan

Stefan walks into Nintendo headquarters with Graal.

Stefan: Excuse me, I have a appointment, my name is... STEFAN!!
Secretary: Yes sir. It will be just a minute.
Stefan: Thank you. *thinks about what game to rip off next*
Three minutes later....
Secretary: They are ready for you.
Stefan: Thank you again.
Stefan heads toward the meeting room....
*KNOCK, KNOCK*
Nintendo Guy #1: Come in.
Stefan enters....
Nintendo Guy #1: Welcome Mr. Knorr.
Stefan: I am greatly pleased, shall we get started?
Nintendo Guy #2: Whenever you are ready.
Stefan: Some odd 3 years ago, I ripped off a game of yours, Zelda. I have redid the graphics and charged people for it. I was wondering if you could publish it on Nintendo and me still get all the money.
Nintendo Guy #3: Sure, that is possible.
Stefan: Really?
Nintendo Guy #2: NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Spaz, get out of my sight.
Stefan walks home sad....

Graal really doesn't resemble Zelda much anymore. Especially if you cast your eyes in G2K2's direction.

true, but it does have a zelda feel if you have played the original zelda's a lot like me :P

You dont have any case if a game FEELS like another. I mean Diablo FEELS like Minesweeper but it acually is not. Though I enjoy the mindless clicking on both games.

disablekey index;
Though unnecesarry except for the R, P and M keys if you're just making your own custom controls for your playerworld anyway.

Being able to disable all keys for something like cut scenes and movie sequences would be nice. :/

I normally just use freezeplayer in those cases.

ehem...that's not really relevant since I always disable the player's movement during sequences. Just being able to disable pausing and map viewing would be nice :)

I don't really think so, in Golden Sun the sprites and graphics and stuff all looked perfect near each other, I still don't really find the bodies and heads of Graal2002 very fitting with the rest of it.
