since i saw a GBA thread....why not one for NGC? For those that don't keep tabs with what goes on in the home gaming industry.....NGC is Nintendo GameCube....which is 10x better the PS2........though disc capacity is smaller (because physical size is smaller)...the actual graphics blow away the PS2......i even have an .avi from the japan electronics show thing.....that shows of the NGC quite well with some nice movies of Link battling Gannon and Samus running down a corridor as explosions chaser her.....even the machine is small enough that Nintendo put a carrying handle on it!!!

i resent that.....i voted yes......because Microsoft has no business doing it..........they should stick to PCs..........they will more than likely hurt in some aspect. But I do want a NGC, because

1) I love mario and zelda games
2) been a ninteno fan since the original NES, still my favorite company even though pokemon pisses me off
3) you can hook your GBA to it
4) it looks nifty but if you are carrying it on the street chicks will probably think it is a makeup case
5) X-Box will bomb :)

The final fantasies for the playstation cannot even compare to the greatness of the SNES ones.

I never really owned a SNES for a long time. The only real good games I got out of it were:
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy 3/6
Mario RPG

I bought a PS2 for FFX

ZELDA A LINK TO THE PAST RULED

I love the snes final fantasies, FF4, 5 & 6 were all very very good. I know 7 and 8 might not have been AS good but I swear, Final Fantasy 9 is so good, it is as good as those classic FFs. I can't wait for FF10

Oh and Mario Advance will have that game you are talking about build-into it (it has two games, a super mario brothers 2 remake and that original mario game where you fight donky kong) you can play it multiplayer against other people who have a GBA!

And another thing about GBA... not all games that are multiplayer will require each person to own the game. So like if you have 3 friends, you can play a 3-player mario vs. game but only one of you will need to own the cartridge, neato!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes and when GameCube comes out all those people who bought PS2 will feel stupid and rush to stores for a refund but no one will give them a refund but Walmart because they would give anyone one :D "Always low prices , Always cheap stuff"

I wish I could return my Dreamcast though. I like Shenmu but other than that... nothing very incredible, PLUS they already have stopped making games for it since Sega bailed the hardware buisiness. (Well there are a few more coming but there are no new ones being worked on I don't think, Shenmu 2 will probably be one of the last ones)

For those that bash Nintendo as a system for small kids........think again.......their whole purpose is to reach out to gamers of all ages........thats why they let their 3rd party developers do most of the work....Rare being their best friend. Rare has been probably the only 3rd party developer to take the N64 to its extremes......mostly with Perfect Dark and Conker......Nintendo is the only other developer to use their systems abilities to their best.....notably with the 2 zelda games......

PLUS!!! NOA does not make anygames......all they really do is translate and slighlty modify the Japanese ports for use elsewhere.

So i dont want to hear any more crap about nintendo like that.....cause i just laid it all down for ya why they do what they do.......

actually....my brother and i were thinking the same thing.......but knowing Rare.....it would be one of the funniest things you'll ever play.....im also sad the Rare sold the conker license to THQ.........cause THQ sucks......and will make conker suck.....

here is some more stuff......

Most of you know that psx has a lot of games and the n64 well.....has a decent selection.......I have met a lot of people that say they like psx because it has lots of games.......personally, that is about the stupidest reason i have ever heard......probably the question is.....how many of them do you actually play? i have noticed lots of real cheap and poorly made games......like teletubbies......who in their right mind is gonna purchase that? As for nintendo.....yes, they do have a moderate selection of games to choose from....but have you ever noticed that they are usually of higher quality? I think the reason is because of licensing fees. That is why several of Nintendo's best developers defected to sony....because Nintendo has higher fees for games that are developed for their system which means that developers have to spend their money wisely as with the psx.......developers can just throw something together and call it a game. That is not to say that developers, such as Squaresoft defected.....they did do it because of money...not because they could make cheap game.

I think that materials (cartidge/cd) have little to do with pricing on games......its probably related more to licensing fees...
