Look at some of the other gfx in this forum download them , open paint up and see all the techniques they used were they put the shading etc..

It would also help if you know a little bit about pencil drawing.

Thanks but what I want to know is more like first kinda step by step drawing tips. For drawing anything like characters, weapons, trees. Where do you start?

First think of something to draw, make the outline in black first , after your done the outline of you gfx , start adding colour , than add shading and last but not lest get rid of the black lines , either go over them with with a darker colour than your useing ex, your using green us a dark green as outline . than save. i'll make something for you hold on.

Here's something i made to help you out its a creature or mine ,
in steps

Step 1: Make the creature outline
Step 2: Colour in with basic colours your going to use to see what looks good.
Step 3: Add shading and smaller details you left out before.
Step 4: Add finishing touches , any shadeing you didnt do , something that you missed etc... , and get rid of black lines.
