Proposing a new way to pay...

Well, I was thinking (have been on this idea for a while now) that it might be better if upgraded accounts were paid for on a monthly fee. The most positive reason for doing this would be that it could reduce credit card fraud since you have to check every month when you bill the card. Second, it would make that $39 a little easier to swallow since the cost is broken down into 12 monthly payments. Of course, the upgraded accounts would become more like an ISP where you do a monthly payment, but I think it would be better and could possibly convince many hesitant parents to allow their kid(s) to get an upgraded account.

I also was thinking, maybe for some families that would have the fee(s) billed to one card could possibly get a special rate like based on the number of accounts billed to that card with the limit being 4 so that instead of paying $13 each month for 4 accounts, do something like $11.75 or simply allow parents to purchase a master account and allow 4 spawned accounts from it for like $12.50.

I know this is probably not the best idea, but it never hurts to take it into consideration...who knows, it might actually draw in more players willing to pay for the better stuff ;)

I've never had any billing problems with Graal2001...I see this idea as a good opprotunity for them draw in players.

$3.25 a month is not bad...it's hardly anything compared to what some online games charge per month I imagine :)

nah, id rather pay $40 at one time, a bill every month would anger me

I like the idea. I wouldn't have to ask my parents to re-upgrade each time. I still have an EQ account from a while ago and I don't really play anymore...which reminds me I have to cancel that.
