I am making a server. It will be P2P for one reason only, Mutli-directional gani's.


There will be many ways to earn money, and there is the no money under bushes thing. YOu start out with 100 gralet so that you can buy some material's to get you started.


We're still working on the details, but we have come up with many ways to earn money.


I have posted a screen shot on one of our fishing systems. It is a Harpoon in which you strike at the fish. Once you get enough money, you can Buy a net and catch heavier fish. Or you can just fish with your hands at the shallows and catch minnows or something to eat or sell for a small amount of money.

I like the idea though jobs is not exactly what people are looking for... so if your whole server is just about money it won't be very popular... try making several nice non-job things... such as games weapons etc... that might attract attention.

Looks kewl. Edit the black gfx a bit at the tip of the harpoon a little and add some more texture into the arrow itself even though it consists of small pixels.
I had an idea about a system similiar to this but as a fisherman the cheapest item is a catch net that you catch anchovies in and minows then after selling the fish you buy a spear, not too much of a harpoon, the only difference is that a harpoon is for larger fish rather than small fish.

Yeah i was thinking that. But see I want this server to have more opportunities to make money also, unlike 2001, where you had (had! not have!) to beg people for money to get started.


Also i was trying to think up some games. I was thinking like How about Race Tracks for runners, such as a Hurdle event, you know you jump over the hurdles.

There would also be a war-type game. If you've ever played Tribes, you know what i'm talking about. You have to defend your base from the other invading team, and you'd have a selection of weapons.

I am going to have a server wide kingdom fight. If your king dies then your out. If you die then you are put in OCC mode then you cannot fight or conflict with anyone till its over. I will have a status screen of who's king is dead and who's king is living by using 1!!! Server variable!. I also made this apple gallery game which is kool. Hurdles sound fun!:D

I suck or I would make a pw. I have lots of cool ideas and stuff but I cannot implement them. :(

When you start out, As I said, you get 100 gralet, but you also get something else, a Backpack. This will contain some of the NPC's you use, such as the Net to catch fish, the harpoon, the tent you sleep in and the materials, and other materials as well. It can only hold a limited amount, but here's a screen shot of me setting up my tent.

I may be wrong but if Im right im pissed. Werent harpoons or spears on Murasamune first!?

Murasamune has harpoons, spears, swords, long swords, katanas, scythes, swallows, daggars, short swords, axes, maces, bow & arrows...oh yes, and siege gear. Thats weaponry though...I am not going to get started on what other things there are.

Since its ***? Sounds like someone is jealous considering the gfx and ganis from what I saw in the screen are crap, and nothing compared to even the worst thing of Murasamune. Give up now, you won't be able to make anything good

Meh.. it doesn't matter if they HAVE it... I get my ideas of weaponary and such from browsing... if I for example want to think of mediveille weapons i go to special site =) I look at stuff their history of weapons and such if it fits the profile etc... Harpoon can also be calld Spear or Javelin so.. well... you know... Or Pike =) wich defuo Terra is going to have... basicly I riped that from my own game lol (Arena)

Strange how way back when I submitted a while ago, Stefan said on the review "Very nice new weapons, especially liked the spear gani" or something to that effect...now, a while later, Graal2002 has more then one primary weapon, and the 2 we saw were a spear and a sword. Coincidence? I think not.
