Update All Levels Button
 

A great addition to the RC would be a button that will update all the levels on the server when pushed... Of course this will only be available to admins since some staff might abuse the power and make all the levels repeatedly update. This would be useful for fixing the levels if a hacker messed them up, or they simply need an update because of new things or what not.

Maybe added to the File Manager, an "Update Selected" button.
Then a Filter By * field, so you can filter by .graal, .nw, .png, .mng, .gif, or if you don't wanna see the listing at all and just upload blind, .lost or some equally deprecated extention...just a text box that acts as the arguments for the file listing, defaults to null

yeah this would be nice,
before w/ old rc I used to click the browse level on the upload button and select like a crap load of lvls and update.
But the file manager should have a Update Level feature which you can filter like Tyhm says,
or perhaps it should update any levels in the /levels
of course the level extensions are already listed in the folder options

A feature to show only files of type ____ and a feature to update all the selected levels. That way you can filter only the .graals, select them all, and update.

Hbout reset ALL accounts, so lik you can reset the server, that way, Stefan dont have to be bothered with it.

Oh and that reset button would need to reset everything x_x

kills, deaths, time etc.. everything!

would be dangerous if a RC w/ power to reset all acct's got hacked or something

1 prob, on player worlds such as g2k1 were updating the levels might really mess some things up such as making pie's mining, etc. am not sure this would be such a great idea, because even high ranked staff somtimes go crazy mabe level 5 rc's could have this feature?

not only that but some people even owners get really pissed off or mabe even a pissed GM or Co-owner with FTP and level 4 rc could do this i dont think it would be a good idea because atlest with Stefan doing it theres some controle this would be fine for most p2p worlds but some of the high ranked staff on free worlds are pritty messed kinda makes you wonder how they got level 4 rc and FTP in the first place:rolleyes: and as you sayed Liquid it would be bad enough if someone got a level 4rc let alone the ability to restart the whole freeking world!!

you have to think of Dial UP.
Some people wish to be staff and they can not because their ISP does not support a static ip, or nething close to static. Even some people with Dial UP who have IP Ranges are not very safe from hackers.

Look, you dont seem to realise that the 'if' will never happen. So yeah, if they cant get Cable/DSL in their Area too bad, the IP Range is there to protect us (not entirely though) from hackers.

Serverwide account wipes should not occur frequently enough to justify making it a feature. Stuff like that can be hard to do, and should be hard to do, because it shouldn't be done often. On Classic, if I wanted to do another account wipe, I'd have to ask Stefan and/or Unixmad to do it. That's how it should be.

I totally agree with that... Lets just stick to an update all levels button/right. :)
