and where is this pond maker? I dont have it...

Aknts 02-01-2002 06:26 AM

That looks exactly like path and pond maker.

zell12 02-01-2002 06:36 AM

path and pond maker... wtf is that? Who made it, can someone post it or something?

Dustey 02-01-2002 06:44 AM

you can make the editor controls look better by changing the script if u look at it a bit... I cant make them though... looks totaly like u used the edit controls

konidias 02-01-2002 08:46 AM

Really? That's funny judging as how there are a lot of corner to corner connections there.. and the path generators have a square tile all over to prevent that from being possible.. meaning that wasn't generated by the path editor things.

So basically the path editor things must not be too shabby if you can't even tell the difference. Oh.. and I wish people would stop calling that "detail" like using 500 small rocks and flowers all over your level is "detail" it's just being excessive.

I don't see why everyone gets in a hissy fit when they see dirt and shallow water paths.. "OMFG U USED GENURATUR!!111"

I got bored, here's some proof.. the red circles indicate tiling that the shallow water/dirt path generator cannot do.. unless someone made a different version that CAN do this.. which I have yet to see.

Green circle indicates a tile error, that the generator would not make.

However, this doesn't rule out the possibility that he used generator in the level. It's just pointing out some of the reasons that he might not have.

TheBig099 02-01-2002 08:55 AM

maybe he modified it after using generator
but anyway... whats wrong with using generator?

Wes2000 02-01-2002 09:47 AM

well in my generater thing i have path and 2001 path or something like that and the 2001 doesnt work for me, but can someone post the water script for me? it saves a lot of time...

exactly, the generator cannot do that, therefore it must have been tiled by hand..

zell12 02-01-2002 11:10 AM

I don't even know what ya guys are talking about, path gen and water gen... who made it?

ArchOwl 02-01-2002 10:20 PM

I dont care if he used generator or not.

Im normally very picky about my outside levels.

But this... this is just a GREAT outside level.

Truly a work of art.

I LOVE IT.

10/10

zell12 02-02-2002 02:43 AM

Thank You... But one question, where is this path gen at?

You need to run the setup, and download the newest version.

Put these in your npcs folder when you download the new version.

this too(by the way, the paths im giving you should be put in your npcs folder if you have them or not, since they are better than the default)

zell12 02-02-2002 03:45 AM

arg... thankz, im not going to use em thouhg, I was just wondering what it was

haunter 02-02-2002 08:20 AM

Why does everyone hate things generated? First it was the level generator, and now this, sure it sucks when someone uses the generator to make a huge overworld, and has full grass levels, or large clumps of ugly things, shallow water, bushes,, sand, etc, with no detail, then, generated levels are lame, becuase the creators are just plain lazy :)

zell12 02-02-2002 08:45 AM

arg... I just don't generated things, people are lazy

lordhelmut 02-02-2002 11:11 AM

Pretty nice level

TDK_RC8 02-02-2002 12:16 PM

what's wrong with generated levels? they help the below average level maker strive for the level of fairness

zell12 02-03-2002 12:17 AM

I just don't like itbecause in the ol'days we had to make levels from scrach, and now, n00b's can go generated an entire world without hardly any work at all... :(

zell12 02-03-2002 04:37 AM

are there any more people that want to complement it? besides saying that I generated paths... cause, I didn't... they just look good with ponds

Gangster88 02-03-2002 01:14 PM

:D

zell12 02-04-2002 03:45 AM

You just trying to boost your post count?

Kadar 02-05-2002 11:12 PM

iroc_2001 02-06-2002 03:41 AM

lol i had no freaken clues about these path and pond generators....it takes me like an hour to make a really good path throughout the whole lvl.........

zell12 02-06-2002 03:56 AM

I always make my levels from scrach... and that person who gave me 1/9999999, your weird

zell12 02-11-2002 03:52 AM

Arg... I need to find a job, I got fired from Mithica last night for Abusing my powers... lol

WHIPENIE4 02-12-2002 03:05 AM

zell12 02-12-2002 03:29 AM

neomaximus2k 02-12-2002 04:19 AM
