Divided Kingdoms's NPC Server has been down for a while, I heard that you had it back up, but it went down when you left

anyway, i wish there was a way that we could reset the npc server, that way we can have it back and going fast, and it wont bother you any

i posted here, b/c apparently no one listens to me

we had 18 players on it once, but not that much since then

Sorry, we don't have any in stock, and the warehouse won't be getting anymore for several months.

Divided kingdom has scripts which freeze the
npc server (like doing 'endless' loops). Someone
needs to fix that before we can restart it.

well, i cant change any of the scripts for 2 reasons


1. i dont know which ones have endless loops
2. i cant change the scripts if the npc server isn't up

Oh that clears everything up.
You have to do 2 things then.

1. Find the scripts with endless loops
2. change the scripts from ftp.

Anyways, screen_name, he put it back up but it responded very slowly and crashed again. Can you think of any NPCs you put never-ending loops in?

Just disable them all and add 'em back one by one, checking each as you go for bugs. Though it's kinda your responsibility not to make infinite loops like that...

Normally you find it in the npclog which scripts have been
changed lately, it's probably one of the last scripts
changed since it freezes the npcserver each time it is
started so its not some secret script only running all
10 years.
