Graal history
 

Has anyone played graal before they made a server list when graal classic was the main server and to get to other servers you had to put in the port number.

One thing i hated about that time some one thought i was hacking when i was using those gravity boots the boots that make you invincable when you wear them but your speed decreses and it hurts you all but 0.5 making you vulrenable when you stop using them =/

oh i remember some thing werid when i first started playing graal

i just entered the main land and this dog thing attacked me it had no normal person body andit didnt have a sword =/
kinda too late to complain about it since it was way back.
and i was kinda confused when i first started "how do i chage my clothes" oh ya they never had any other bodys i think...
just the body you start with when you first play a server

Wow i rember that, and then they kept adding like servers to the main server and it was kinda like islands but it wasnt...and than you like choose your chracter and i could nevr change my head it was to laggy

for some reason when i started playing graal my brother thought it sucked and when he tryed it once he got hooked it was addicting at one point when you had some thing to do but all that time today its pretty boring

better off being a newbie than a oldbie
am i right ?


having everything makes it very boring especailly if nothing new comes around.

I'll start on my first day...

When I came to Graal, the main Graal server was always down. Instead,
there was a Real World server up. We did not judge levels back then, so
everything was great. I went up this path where I saw a girl with 20 hearts, an
axe, and a horse. I hit her, and died in three swings. I came alive in this main
town. RW had this portal that would take you to 6 different worlds. A person
taught me how to do this race track type of thing. I then ventured on and
found these gnome people. I carried a bush through a maze, and recieved a
green glove. However, I had to get off, and I could not save in RW. Later that
night, I came back on. I was asked to join the guild called Dark Troopers,
also known as DT. There were like 4 other newbies with us. We were allied
with a powerful guild known as IZP, yet PACHUKA hated us. I recieved my
guild tag, and then we all went up to this place where we got horses. Then
we had a big fight, and even though we lost, we said we won.

Later that night, I came back on. A girl named Queen Scoobie handed me an
axe, fireball, mirror shield, and spin attack. A big oldbie guy took a horse and
started riding up this mountain type thing, attacking everyone of us. We
followed, losing many members, and finally, he got off. I had to get off, and lost
my items. This was my first day playing Graal

See, you started in onlinestartlocal.graal. You could choose to go into RW or
Graal. Graal didn't work though.

I continued to play, but no day was as fun as the first. About 1 in a half months
later, they shut down RW, so we had to stay in onlinestart. There was this small
sparring place. About 2 weeks later, Graal was shut down for a while.

This was the "1999 server crash" It was down for about a month. At the time,
about 15-20 people would be on at a time. Finally, 1.1 came out. It was great to
be back, and I could go on the main server now. I could go into RW, but I was
older now, and would not sink that low ;]. What was good is that I was a girl, and
guys liked me. After the server crash, I quit Dark Troopers. I remained
guildless for a while. On the main server, it took me about 1 day to get all the 20
hearts and items. I learned how to spar good, and I rode around on
PACHUKA's black horse. I still remember the day U-turne of DT got angry at
PACHUKA. It all started when I was running around with Azreal and PACH was
chasing U-Turne into his pool. We followed him to where U-Turne was
stranded in a pool. His GF, J, came to save him, yet she also was trapped in
the pool where you would go nakey.

I never really went back to the place after Azreal left for a while, but PACH still
played. When I went back to get my horse, I saw a loser named hoss who was
in the worst guild, RD, and one time a man named Captain USA, who was
somewhat cool, but annoyed PACH. Eventually, I joined KoV so I could get the
website pass and delete the website, because that was PACH and I's thing to
do. PACH finally left Graal for good, and I had nothing to do. I had my brother
hack me 100 hearts and a death sword toward the end of 1.1. The server shut
down a while later for a few weeks. Finally, a version known as 1.2 came out.

1.2 was so great because I could finally use my favorite head, head21.gif.
There were like 25 heads now! We had these strange account things, that only
some people got. My friend, Fuitad, who was the person who made
guildcodes, became a GM type of thing, and made me an account. He and
Galen finally got the account thing going, so everyone got accounts. A little
after that, he formed Police. I chose not to be in it because I didn't know what
they would do. Spider hacked the guildcode, so I had him change it to (GP)
instead.

(Oh yes, I left out the part where Spider was nice. He used to follow me around
and always say Hi to me)

The first tme i saw graal was around vrs 1.2 my friend ,joek5142,
was hangin around in this cace place and ceckin PMs. Then i asked to play and lost him about 20k i think it was.

warp rings rock

I started right when the server list was created. I played N-Pulse my friend told me not to play classic he told em about graal.

lol I remember using the player gani's in scripts. Omg that brings back memories after you use the warp ring you did the macarina lol. I remember that warp ring I made.

anyone have any graal history storys of graal before the server list?

I remember on classic mantara and kharlia :) those bring back good memories, when people would go to mantara they would be like OMFG THAT IS LEET SCRIPT and these days its like nothing

i think one thing in mantara was the tree maker than made hearts if you waited for the tree to grow i never waited took too long not like the trees on graal2001 they go pretty slow too but trees take awhile to grow espeically if you want graal to be realistic

There was also the bomb eater, thats all I remember x.x

Graal was a LOT better without Playerworlds.

started right when 1.49 came out...and well the servers like npulse didnt lag and.. well i had all the hearts every weapon on npulse and i wanted to be staff...so i tried to get 200 hours then i stoped playing it then went to like evolution...it wad da sheot it had really fun pop the cap game where there was 1 person that killed the person that was the cap would get a point...it was one of the first fun games a plaid on evolution and it kept getting more fun untill there was too much corrupt staff and stefan took it down then back to npulse then after while 2001 came out i begged my mom and she didnt trust graal2001 staff so it took her a while and now i had my account upgraded for a year and now i have 50 days left :)

I admit I haven't played for very long. I used to estimate Graal Version 1.32 about, but I've since doubted it.

I don't have the old, old version anymore, as I deleted it when newer versions were released.

I thought it was really cool looking when the serverlist was first implemented. :D There was only like 50 people on Main if you were lucky - at least for a couple of hours.

I also remember Lost World. It was basic, and nothing much to it, but it was fun to get away from Main's lag.

Ooooh, Kharlia. That confused my a lot. When I first went there, I was like, "AHHH!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!! I THINK I GOT DELETED AND PUT ON SOME WIERD SERVER!!!" because the maps and everything were different. (Was there a map? I can't remember)

I went through and I picked a class, I think it was a merchant, because the money tempted me. Anyway, after about 30 minutes of playing in the dark, as I think it was during a night time, I found a baddy cave. I though, "Ahh!! Baddies!" because they were right at the warp, therefore hitting me when I went in. But since I had 20 hearts, and it wasn't taking away any health when I was hurt, I thought I was immortal. It came as a real shock when I suddenly died. :D

I still have the old multiplayer version if anyone wants it.

I sorta agree since graal was better when its one server for stefan and a team of staff to improve and run with all the servers on the server list stefan has to go and help them some times if something goes wrong and they need help and hes always making new projects for a new server and and i could go on for days saying how playerworlds being gon would make graal better in a way

I used to use Skrub 0 a lot. I liked the idea of hiding under a pot. I still think they should have made one or two recolors though.

I noticed one thing before player worlds came out you hardly saw stefan some people didnt even knew he existed well i didnt till i wondered through the website in the staff section

if you saw stefan then that would have been a rare occasion i forget when that was but it was a long time ago and i took a break for graal since my account i forget what it was called its lost in graal time or probably deleted.....

I'm actually still using the account that I first started on. :D

Eventually I had to have the E-Mail changed on it because I lost the one the account was tied too.
I'm going to need it changed again very soon, as my ISP is starting to discountinue "@home.com" adresses.

*sigh*

I guess I'm going to have to switch to "@shaw.ca"

I don't think I do, as I signed up at an outlet in my town, a cable television company called "Shaw"
They were operating out of @home, but have since discontinued services with them.

I guess they've set up their own cable internet service and now I have to move everything over to this one, or get it deleted in the early spring. :(

I think the least-used bomy on G2k1 is Naifets4 :p
