WOW!! I have seen a lot of attacks on servers recently.........yesterday, Enigma got hacked and now Sanstrata. When will people grow up? My best guess is that it's revenge for something they felt that they were hurt by......

The only truly unhackable object is a brick: if nothing gets in and nothing gets out, no data can be corrupted.

Any system with input and output can get bad input, and return bad output. The best you can do is filter the bad input and limit the bad output.

You can't really hack FTP, it just that the owners and staff never shut up and just go telling everyone password. That how someone got FTP to EL. CUZ STAFF DON"T SHUT UP! they just give password away to newbies.

Well G2K1 has experienced some (minor) hacks already but for the most part it has been pretty clean, so I'm happy!

A 5 year old child can "hack" swords and sheilds. The invisible people probably just edited and froze a sprite.

Rather they hex edited, used an existing program, or otherwise it is still considered hacking. As for the invisible people, I don't know why thei were invisible... they were invis and catching fairies while invis but you could see their fairy catcher. Valder saw it too

all they do is use a memory editor, and change their sword gif to either sword2.gif, sword3.gif, sword4.gif, etc..

Yes I've seen the editor in question. I can't believe that thing is still in use after all this time, and it still works. Hopefully something can be done

Level 4 sword wont work with GT. I know people who have tried.

Alot of servers have that sword disabled. Why give people the ability to get a higher sword than allowed?
