Big bug which needs to be fixed, and quickly...

Basicly when you set a playerprop above #P1 (which is a gani attribute) it COMPLETELY screws up your account. Everything can be read fine by the NPCs, but when viewing through RC all your weapons are gone and everything, and it is basicly impossible to edit your attributes. This needs to be fixed, and fast...

Hehe then wait for someone who does know and can fix it to answer, until then keep bumping.

BlKnight 01-20-2002 08:56 AM

:(

SkooL 01-20-2002 08:58 AM

You should have posted this in the bugs forum. Things move much slower there, so you wouldn't have to bump so often.

Vincent_TK 01-20-2002 09:16 AM

ok.

Admins 01-20-2002 01:00 PM

Hmmm What do you mean with 'above #P1' ?

I am guessing he means #P2-#P5.

Slaktmaster 01-20-2002 08:14 PM

Stefan, you should add more gani attributes. :(

omi, maybe it just pertains to the server. since torches and bomies work on 2k1, and they use attribute 2 =\

No they don't, look at the ganis. The torch uses gani scripting...and the bomys use def body I think.

No, because the NPCs can read everything fine. And the weapons still appear in game...it simply completely screws the account attributes when viewing them though. I think its just some RC bug...

Admins 01-21-2002 05:10 AM

All ganis for music instruments, torch, kart, riding on bomy,
and bamboo stick use attributes like #P2 and #P3
Can you give more informations, like the script
(server-side, client-side?)

Soul Blade -

It is a client side script, and it is in a timeout loop (0.1 timeout). Its also a NPCW, in the weapons database.

If you need even more info, I could send the whole script. I would have to PM it though...don't want anyone seeing it.

Soul Blade -

-bump-
Stefan please, I need this problem solved.

Hmmm I will turn off sending the gani attributes to
the RC since its not displaying anyway. May be
the player attributes string is too big or so, not sure

Could you upload the version which you have done this? I need it. Here is more info, btw...
This is how long the strings are...

When I set only #P1, it works, and keep in mind that #P1 is also one of the largest strings....

Works-
setplayerprop #P1,murasamune_armor_knightsarmor.png;

Doesn't Work-
setplayerprop #P2,murasamune_helmet_knightshelm.png;
setplayerprop #P3,murasamune_shield_knightsshield.png;
setplayerprop #P5,murasamune_boots_leather.png;

Thanks...
