Happy to announce completion
 

No, not of the WHOLE server (Lagoonia), just the RP script that I started a few days ago.

Here are the features:
--Finished Things
Items: Each player can have unlimited amount of items, but for non battle item usage, you can only use the 1st 34 (which should be enough).

Battling:
To battle an NPC, you must touch it (like in Chrono Trigger or Mario Story on the SNES).

There is a max of 4 players rping in a level at a time. If you touch an enemy, you will be quened until one of the battles finishes.

You have 3 options while battling
Attack
Run
Item
Each are self explanitory
--Unfinished things
Attacks:
There is an unlimited number of attacks a player can have (only the attacks that are server wide though).

Attacks are leveled, bought, and trained

Other:
There will be 5 classes (not created yet), with class weapons items, and abilities.

the quests and new monsters
more items
more attacks

In order to keep down lag, and for other reasons, 4 is the max. The players are warped to a different part of the level, like in a final fantasy game. Since it's multiplayer, you can't just have one separate level. This way, no one interferes (sp, its late) with someone else's RP battle. Once you play it, you will enjoy it, trust me :D

If your gonna do it that way, you should allow players to leave the queue and do something else for a few minutes, otherwise you could get a lot of players who become bored waiting in line.

I can see it now, a Slightly Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. :o

I'm doubtful, but I suppose it could work. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt though, and I can tell you right now you're going to get a lot of crap for it. :[

Let me get this straight :).
Its NOT an RP server ONLY. There is action, AND RPing. Both sides of the game are parallel, so players can enjoy either, or both. :)

As for pizza boys being copies....I've had that up since the 1st set of player worlds were put up (Like, Paradox). And, They were just like GP cadets, except they also delivered pizza ;).

As for the quene, the players dont get stuck there, and wait. Maybe I missworded it. What I meant was, if you touch an NPC, and 4 people are already rping, then you dont rp. If someone finishes, and then you touch another NPC, THEN you rp. quene just kind of summed it up at the time. sorry for the confusion :(
