Anybody who was just on g2k1 prolly lost a shite load of rocks. a bunch of people lost everything uncrafted and some lost everything period

i wasnt on

stupid mining and crafting update, supposed to prevent hacked gems. Corpse lost over 400 gems and craig lost like 200 something. I lost everything I had that was uncrafted

just plain bullshit!!
 

there is no reason that people should lose hard earned items because graals staff dont know what there doing. do these admins. have any idea how long it takes to mine and craft over 400 gems? i think not. i asked for my gems back and get this reply "why would you carry that many gems around"its not illegal to carry as many as i like, and what does that have to do with the fact that i lost them due to staff errors? it doesnt take a brain surgeon to look at my remaining gems and see that all i have are diamonds and durbys which are both useless without gold"which i have none of now". plus all my iron are missing also.i expect someone to fix this problem.come on stefan spend a little more time on 2001 to see whats going on here.

I reported your loses to Shadow Knight and Loriel, if there are any other people that are missing gems, please tell me ON GRAAL not a Forum pm or a post

they have been working really hard lately, but still

I am fortunate enough to have my stones, but this is absolutely disgusting. People leave them uncrafted for a reason, and that is to not lose the money to PK'ers. Like tonight, I am going to craft about 15 of my reds because new hats are coming out. Once I get the new hats, I have no more money on me and I am able to keep it away from PK'ers, that simple.

If what Loriel did was true, he is certainly going to lose a lot of respect (or what respect he has left). He has no idea how much trouble it is to mine and craft because he just needs to press a few buttons to fulfill his needs

Edit: I heard the bug is fixed now, so everyone should have their rocks back

Hey, I was making a point. That is why people dont craft their rocks. Like Loriel said "Why dont you just craft them in the first place?"

the rocks will probably get given back, but this woulden't happen if idiots hacked rocks in the first place.

how can you hack a rock in the first place? I know hackers are out there, but rocks?

I thought shadow knight was the one that was changing them.. not loriel.. and mistakes can happen jesus.. they aren't robots.. if you were in their position and something like this happened you would tell everyone to shut up and get over it.. at least they are trying to give rocks back or whatever..

Geez, it was some function transferring stuff from the old rocks string to the new string, and I misdid the check if they already were transferred, you cannot say I do not know how to handle NC just because I made a mistake...

Yes, people do make mistakes, but it seems there have been a lot of mistakes happening lately. It's starting to get annoying and that's why people are reacting this way. :(

I havent played graal in forever.. Konidias is right though.. Nobodys perfect.. i feel bad for loriel.. Most of you (along with me) probly dont know how it is to be a high level admin. Loriel hardly ever gets to play graal. All he gets is complaints and people asking for stuff. Anoyone of us would get fed up with that. His job is not to put up with all the liers who want free rocks.

So basically loriel is hated for doing his job... hmmm

seriously, for all the stuff loriels scripted for 2001 he deserves to be corrupt

I fixed every thing dont worry, there should be no more ore loss and i returned the lost minerals with the help of lamer, after that i was really busy, i spent over 2 hours working on bugs that where caused by the flag switching, i fixed every thing, i have a couple things left to do, but there minor right now, the purpose of the flag switch was to prevent the hacking of gems and have npc's read the strings esier, client strings can be hacked and normal strings cant but normal strings cant be edited clientside so they were switched over to a unhackable client string, the main purpose of this was to allow players to trade them with the item trader and view how many they have with the item trader, i was the one that scripted the item trader for the ore, and im gonna add the clothes changer, bait 1-3, the mining bombs, the bogrn, the fire ball and a couple others to it soon, ive been working hard and been real bust, the generation 4 bomy should be out soon with bomy battling, and new pitate ships too, you can walk on and off them instead of saing leave of touhing the boiat, theres a test one online already, plus if they get stuck or lost, after a few minuts of no one riding them, theyll warp back where they started,a dn soon theyll have working cannons players can fire, youll see to craft iron to make cannon balls to fire though, they should be done soon.

these updates are merely economy (jobs needed) based. You can't just run around with nothing and have fun with happenings with those kind of updates.

im open to ideas on staff i can add to make graal2001 funner, just forum pm me or message me on aim or pm me on graal, or just reply the ideas

SK is worse then me about ignoring people.. I got on an unknown account and pmed him an idea yesterday for 2k1, and I never got a response, and he was on for like 3 hours straight.. =/

When I pm him on my konidias account he answers it.. I sense a bit of favourism.. :(
