Gserver 1.3 and its legality
Okay I sometimes run a server on Gserver 1.3 for fun with my friends and such, and I was wondering if anyone knows how legal this is? I mean am I doing wrong and not knowing it? I just do it for fun basically, but is like Graal 1.3 copyrighted or something so that I can't?! Please someone explain or something.

Who that could sue would really know that you set it up? Just don't be stupid, and advertise the server address on the message boards.

It's illegal to run a Gserver.. I think it's also illegal to have a copy of it..

The site said 1.3* gservers were okay as long as they were not networked and advertised alot...
Like, publicly... I don't remember. |
It's legal as long it's on a LAN.

Any of the windows version of the graal server are legal as long as they are not public(ie on a LAN)

what's so wrong about running a Gserver?
|
Dont know. I mean the current Graal exe, aside from the basic structure, is compleately different. almost like haveing a compleate other game =\

I very much doubt that Graal will lose money from 1.28 - 1.3 gservers anyway. People may go on them for fun, but I'm sure they will also come to Graal2001 for it's much increased functionality and playability.
