The thig about updates for 2001 is that there probably will be none.... Konidias had all those updates on him and bomy fighting would have been probably realeased by now, so now there is none to work on 2001. Birdbird, Stefan Loriel etc are all busy with trying to get 2002 up, so I guess we need some kind of new Admins for 2001 scince old ones went to 2002. WHY DID THEY GO???? WHYYYYYYYYYYY....

Because they liked the fancy new tiles, look, and the 3d terrain? At least that's, from what I've seen, the best about it.

Doesn't a thing like Graal tradition exist? HAH? OK I am making my own server! So far the only server left with graal tradition is N-Plus... when you complited all teh uests only thing to do is PK or spar =)

Am I the only who has realized that Graal 2001 has been out for a year and so far only has 3 (major) quests? Classic has been out for 3 years and has tons! What went wrong?


All I can think of is:

Help the Fish
Beat up the Dragons (with people you paid 5 gralat each to help you)
Use Teamwork To get through a Challanging place (5 more gralat a pop?)

Non major ones:

Z-Bombs (but isint this more of a mini-game?)

Graal2001 wasn't about quests... Classic is for taht... Though it would be nicew to see some normal quests around there. They should make new staff for 2001... staff members that is...

The hell is 2001 about then? Make pies and mine until you have all the hats and bomies? What a creative plot line! Too bad I broke the plot by actually not making pies and mining, just pking, and I make more than the people that do! Fun times fun times.

Well, you have to remember that classic has actually been out much longer than 3 years. As well as the fact that classic was the only server around, so it was the only one that needed to be worked on.
Besides, alot of the classic quests were very basic, and apparently that's not what's wanted anymore.

I dont care if the quest is carry a pot 3 feet or slay 2 dragons with a bunch of people you have to bribe to help you, a reward is a reward, and we need lots of rewards on classic if we ever wanna get a Bomy... :(

You can't get bomy on Classic... THey should return Fighting Fish

Anyone is allowed to make stuff for 2001... many of the old updates were player submitted. It's not just the staff that's not making anything, it's the players.

Still, a game should be able to carry its own weight relying on players to make everything. What's the matter here?

i agree, i think the last player made non hat update was my farm, i dont know

Well, JR is submitting is town.

That's just another thing people will look into for a day or two then get bored of. Graal 2001 relied on constant updates to keep it alive

delete g2k1 or reset all accounts

The fighting fish have been back for a few weeks now. Turned out the fishbowl was wiping them out every time people logged off, oops.

Hey, We do have updates planned!
1) New RP death system (done, just need implementing, sofar, only zormite levels are RP zones)
2) Im working on a Postal system *(thanks jeff) That will make sending messages and making gralats a whole lot more enjoyable.
3) New CS (its in earlie stages as i am tied on the weekends =\)

This would go alot quicker if i had NC *nudges stefan* bwahahaha.

But really, Its not like 2k1 is dead, atleast, not yet.

Yes Pinball and Mini-Golf were made by players weren't they? If you guys are tired of boredom, then make some stuff! Just don't make any quests with hearts, money, or swords in it. :)

I'd make a volcano or just a mountain w/ avalanches that sends rocks down that you mine., but alas I don't have the script so i can't do that. I'd also make an axe repair place if I had the script for the gold and metal axes. Sigh, the things the staff hides from us that we would make 9000 times better if we had access to.
