G2k2 Already a g2k1
 

This is sad people from g2k1 on g2k2 are already trying to monopolize the industry and there are already pkers and idiots who won't tell people where the fudge things that aren't on the map are and then hog money and there is already a damn hat market. This is really getting dumb. Now people are saying that when g2k2 goes live they won't reset our accounts. =(

Then LOOK. Maybe you don have eyes so allow me to help you out a little.

Sword shop - central east of the map
mines - at the south of the mountain
lumbermill - go to the very south of the moutain, go down 2 screens (approx) then go left quite a bit.
Pub - Left of the boat

There are the key places.

Oh yeah, that's the other complaint I have about the server x.x All I heard while waiting for 2k2 was how it'd get rid of the horrible greedy economic system of 2k1. Instead, one of the first mass messages I see when I log on is "SELLING SWORD 4 PM ME WITH OFFERS" -_-

well this is *** i cant even get on because it always tells me to donwload the newversiono what ever then i got download it and it says the same damn thing whats up???

I already told stefan and the rest of the 2k2 staff that 2k2 will never be a good rping server.. since that can't exist with the people that play on them.

Plus the entire demo was like one big quest.. and after you're done, whats next? No matter how big they make the quest stuff, anyone would be able to finish it in a day or two.. then it's back to selling hats and items. 2k2 reminds me of a 2k1 quest.. it gets a lot of hype, everyone anticipates it, it's released, everyone finishes it in one sitting, it becomes old and boring and no one likes it anymore.. That is how 2k2 is to me..

Sure the world is huge, but it's empty, and it takes 5 years to get anywhere you want to go.

That's the point.

ROLEPLAY.
Money is okay in some situations, but it's the entire theme for 2001. At least 2002 has a theme.

they need to rid mass messages and maybe toall's, make it so you can only whisper people or guilds/groups/partys. They need it so you have to be a certain level and power to be able to kill enemys and do quests... kinda like ragnarok :D

The quest was easy, about the hardest part was finding the invisble mine lol. but then stefan showed us and then I was happy with my crappy drift wood

I'm really dissaponted. I had a lot of fun exploring the world, then I got the Captains map and *boom*
I get warped to another island and the mesage says "OH NO WE ARE STRANDED AGAIN!" That is the stupidest excuse for some sort of quest. And all I hear over toall's and masses is "anyone wanna trade this hat for that hat?" or "Wanna trade for gralats?"

I though Graal 2002 was supposed to remove that...

Yeah! Remember that intellegence test thing that was in discussion like 5 months ago? THE SETUP CAN BE THE TEST! :eek:

and you can build your own dang boat!

That when you touch it, it sends you off of the map so you have to reconnect. Yes very RP-ish.

They work perfectly for me.

i play that game for one thing only.

i love it! myself, roy, lyndzey and chris all had fun on my boat. then we went and attacked faldos it was great.

Lucky you. :p Must be that damned lag... is the NPC (Server) still up? I'm gonna make a few boats, put them near Dustari's place, and we can go on a raid and take people prisoner. MWAHAHAA :D

Yes, but remember we can also build or own houses! Also the catapults are a very nice addition! There was a huge snowball fight at the new Mont Antora hehe i had the catapult!

A couple of problems...
 

1. After the Quest, you can't get anything new....unless I haven't throughly explored....I ran out of seeds so I can't make a boat and plus someone would just steal it by putting in the last plank...

2. Too many annoying pkers....with no pause, you just can't get them to $*@( off.....

3. Presents the only way to get money and hats....

4. The $*@(*$ masses about where is this and where is that....
And don't tell me to ignore masses. I'd like to know incase Stefan or some staff decides to say something....

But hey, it's just a preview...

Ya the masses probably caused the server to crash. (i accidently crashed 2k1 once :( ) but the acconts arent gonna be reset when the full version comes out soooooooooooo no more masses about that stuff!

Yeah, that's the bright side of it lol

If staff mass something it breaks through mass block so just ignore masses ;)

Hey, you gotta accept that it's a little rough around the edges. I think all the accounts will be reset before the official release, so don't get your pantyhose in a knot. I thought it was pretty fun, but I'm biased. You can really have a lot of fun with your friends when you're doing something new, so toss your cares aside and pretend to be an adventurer instead of wishing you didn't have to fight with a piece of drift wood. Then you'll be truly happy.

So, so true. :D

um... if the npc server got back up and I could get the basic quest done... I might have fun
