Transparency problem.
1 Attachment(s)
This might have been addressed already... but with the introduction of Graal 2.1, I've found transparency doesn't work nearly as well as it did in 2.05. The transparency converter in Graal 2.05 (black -> seethru) worked well and with all forms of GIF. Graal 2.1, however, doesn't like that... The image attatched here, Bluecrystal2.gif (I edited the gold rupee img), shows up as having a black background. Only when you play Graal in fullscreen does this go away. I tried saving my bitmaps in different formats (256-color, 16 bit, 24 bit) before converting them to .gif and it made no difference... Does anyone know a workaround or fix for this?

Set the transparency manualy in paint, or another GFX peogram.

You forget I know nothing about transparency. So just a plain white (Paint's transparency color) will work?
(EDIT: I tried the plain white. It don't work.) |

Thanks Iracious, that works. UPDATE: The day later: I took your advice and bought (!) the full registered version of Paint Shop Pro 7. It makes good transparency and has lots of other cool stuff too, like Animation Shop, and of course the free plugin pack.. |

why pay 100$ and get psp 7 and ani shop when u can get full version on the net and crack the things....also when you are using transparency in the object use setcoloreffect in the npc to make transparency.....u need a little scripting knowledge to accomplish this. |
