Need an UBER scripter! Magic Idea
 

Ok, first off I am asking this on account of I am not a good enough scripter to do it, i admit it :(. Also, by the looks of it, this will be pretty hard to program... Please open the attached file and go along with me...

to select people, you press up or down and the green arrow goes to the next person (only you can see it). When the green arrow is on the person that you want to hit, you press D and you start chanting (Kal Ort Vas... about a 1/2 second later your sprite changes to 15 if you are successful, if you arent you go back to idle and a message appears over your head saying *Failt*) , you will have a success rate that is determined by your skill. You will also need a certain number of each regent to do certain spells. If it is successful, it will shoot out this red beam and will hit the person dealing random 20-65hp damage.

Also, it will need to be able to:
-hit our baddies (custom made npcs)
-save the arrow on the last hit if they are still online
-check to see if the player has 1 knightblade, 1 black pearl, and 1 sulphur before it fires, if there is then it does.
-make it so the player MP goes down 30.

I dont even know if this CAN be done, but I hope so cause it will open up a shitload of spell ideas that can be used.

You need an NPC server for that I believe.

You could do that. The only difficult part would be the graphic to hit the person with. If it goes from your hands to wherever the person is like in that picture........ I dun think it can be done. But the select the character thing... Easy.

Im going to change the graphic of the flamestrike, i was thinkin of just a wall of flame emerging from the ground where the person stands and hitting them.

I'd change the magic spell name and reagents a bit, this seems too much like Ultima, and yes it can be done, although you'll need someone who is less lazy then I am to script it.

Not that hard...

That is entirely possible, and should work on non-p2p

Now... what do you think would be better?

a) The down arrow switches to people and monsters when you press up or down.
b) You control the down arrow and have to have it over the person when you fire.

Also I plan to change the name and regents :).
