Terrible news...
 

The news is that the graal2001 news has become terrible. I remember it used to be nothing but stefan and unixmads updates about changes on Graal, now it's this:

Dustey writes "Hi it Dustey the CO-Leader of The Lawyers, but on 2001 I go by Ra so i can be in the courthouse and not have my name change. We are a new guild. We are the Lawyers of Graal. We support u in court. Just PM anyone with a The Lawyers tag after thier name and we will start helping u."

Haunter writes "The Bomy sun scorched the human's home world once again, this is getting too dangerous.... We must devise a plan to freeze the bomy's retched sun, then smash it to smitheriens!"

It's bad enough the news is stupid and no longer good information, but at least stefan could spell check this crap and read over it because this is nonsense.. it's bad enough seeing it on the forums from people let alone seeing people saying "Hi it Buddy - Co owner of The Leet Thug Posse - BF of Luna, I go by Bud tho. I am new lawyer and will support u."

Please only post the informative news and make sure the grammar isn't atrocious.

I can understand player posted news, but it needs to be just that; NEWS.

Not stuff that's going up right now, it's upsetting. There was a point where Pith was making updates like "Kingdom games today, so and so lost and won." I liked that...

Yes I agree Pith is a good news reporter.. the recent news posts that unixmad put up, however, are terrible :(

I know. I guess he wants to make the players feel that he is more responsive and whatnot, but I don't think it's a good idea. :( :( :(

If anything there should be two seperate areas for g2k1 news.. one player submitted, and one admin submitted.. (by admin I mean unixmad and stefan)

Then just have the admin submitted news on the front page, and a link to the player news at the top. :)

he that isnt a very prity site to see crap on the homepage like that take it this way say you are a new player going to the homepage for the first time to download graal then you see crap and unprofessional news on the front page you would think twice about it wont it

This is why they go through unixmad and stefan before they are up... if they don't mind them being up, don't complain.

I agree, though, they are pointless, but it is something that the players get to contribute.

Pith is good.

There needs to be (sp?)proffesional news posters.
Like Kamuii or Konidias or Ghost pirate. Because they can all RP.
And news and everything is a lot funner when you RP.
But I am not sure about ghosty because he would try to buy our souls or something like that.. :=/

Yeah, some news is totally irrelevent, like "OMG LIEK HI MOM" and then it would be posted

Umm, pith has been around longer then your mom. He just went under different names. He is also a great news poster. I don't play graal much but I always go to the site to see what new posts pith has. If people start having a problem with it, I will make him a kickass page to post on so the 100's of people who do like his news, can read.

I would like to post news. I am on alot and usually have a good feel for what is going on, or going to happen ect...
