admin checking
 

the problem with complaining to admins about admins is you often get shrugged off and ignored. Besides, who goes to the person who arrested them to complain to? WIth that option removed the only departments to goto are Stefan and Unixmad or the masses. Obviously this is not Stefan's job so that option is clearly left out. With that in mind who is next? The masses. The best way to contact the masses? The board. I am starting to think that Graal needs a complaint office. Now I know we allready have enough admin jobs as it is so I think devoting 3 or 4 people to this task would be sufficient.... what do you say?

well, I was thinking a job for the sole purpose of recieving admin complaints... this will give you an idea of what an admin has been up to after all...

I actually dont care what the so called 'corrupt admins' do, because so far no admin has affected me. Police / FAQ are a different story.

Then they would get the 500000 false reports about how an admin is corrupt. (just because the admin couldn't answer their question within 5 seconds or because the admin can't help them)

The problem with complaints forum is this:

Some guy wants to upgrade his account, so he does a little browsing. He checks the forums and sees a "complaint" forum! So he goes over to it and sees all these reports about corruption and scamming. Now, do you think he will go "Gee loks good, Graal 2001, here I come!" or is he going to say "Oh wow, all that trouble for upgrading an account"?

I wasn't ignored when I complained. :(

Alkaren maybe my brain is fuzzy but I thought you were staff? thats staff against staff opinion. Actually, your right on the 100's of false complaints if it wern't for the fact that the jobs sole purpose was handling these things. I mean cmon, a police is just gonna see you as someone trying to ruin the name of Police no matter how polite you are. Thats what happens to me(well, in the couple of rare instances I had to deal with this).

Guys, I know this position will have its problems but the office holder(s) shouldn't have too much more work than say... a GP Chief. I really wanna here what people think on this one.

You have no idea how much work I have, and I shall not even begin to think about how much Juno has.

Um... how does that hurt my claim... and I do not say others do not understand how much work you put in... ne? I think you misunderstand... I am merely stating that the Complains Admin(the name I shall now borrow) should not get as much work as you. That would suggest an understanding that your job is very difficult so I do not see where your problem is.
