Direct X

I have Direct X 8 and i used to see lights PERFECTLY now when ever i log on they are little likes and tehre all messed, WHAT CAN I DO!?

You don't use Windows 95 do you? If so there's your problem.

If it used to work perfectly with an older version of DirectX (I'd assume you had 7 before this) try removing your current DirectX installation and replacing it with the older version, this unfortunately requires some things which I'm too lazy to explain right now.
