Putnpc

Umm you know how when you use putnpc you have to make a .txt file. Well will that .txt file download (When a server is up) on peoples computers and give them the script or is the a way to use something on NPC server?

I believe it does download but I am not a fan of putnpc...

Putnpc2 however is a different story. It creates a database npc and needs no txt file wich is really good. it is only for P2P servers though.

What putnpc does is checks to see if you have the exact script on your computer. If you don't, it downloads it. That way, if you modify the NPC Code offline, it will redownload the npc code online. At least, that is what I think it does. Putnpc doesn't work on p2p servers. They use putnpc2 instead, in which the npc is coded already within the source NPC. That way, no text file downloading!
