Providence is laggy.

I just started playing on Providence and all npcs lag like hell. >_< Will this be fixed soon? :(

Does it lag when you turn off the stats viewer? If it still does, then I don't know.

I know that some PWs have been mysteriously laggy lately; I don't lag at all on Providence.

And, Psyker, I will unban your account from Providence.

The thing is, I don't lag, the npcs do, i can move and see others move perfectly while the npcs are lagging, the orc lvl 35 in a cave was on the hurt animation for more then 5 minutes.. I decided to exit =P

Hmmm..

Its more then likely the Graal Computers. Prolly doing something with them. Someone was saying that Unixmad was gonna upgrade them? or make them faster. I donnu.

I think Stefan should look into buying a Server? I herd that like they use 4 computers to run graal. Which isnt bad.. but still, 1 server could do all the tasks and do it perfectly. ^_^

I would suggest a Linux Server

almost every server lags bad for me and takes forever to load EVEYTHING. The only server thats fast and nice is g2k1. =/

all free servers are lag less for me, but p2p ones all take time to read signs (i touch it, then wait like 3 seconds before it shows up on screen) and its not my comp, this thing is brand new, so i duno wots going on

THEY RUN IT FROM LINUX REDHAT 7.1 I BELIEVE?

Hmmm... this is odd... I posted a thread about Providence being laggy awhile back and i believe it was you that said "Providence is not laggy, I know a large group of people who do not lag there." It might not have been you but it was someone with a Faheria Staff account. Anyways I totally agree with you.

Well if you are new to P2P servers, then that is the reason. Each level you visit(if you haven't been in it before) Downloads to your "Web Levels" folder or whatever. That used to be my problem on G2k1. But since there is no new levels, i do not lag.
