A little bit of light for graals future?
 

Wow, I am suprised. I knew about 2k2 when it first started and nevr expected the tiling to be this good. I know it's going to be a great server, and I am sure it wont take a major downfall like G2k1 did after a while. Things looks improved, heh when people started saying it's 2k1 with a digit update, I knew it wasnt. So it's quite funny how everyone was wrong. Good job 2k2 Staff.

One thing I noticed, the tiling is great but from the looks of it, I really hope they are not images.. otherwise it will cause lots of lag. Also from the looks of it(again) the doors look huge, and when you look at the doors and the house it looks like the people are small midgets.... I think they should have bigger people in it. It looks very good though.

Yes, the objects are not in correct proportion to the humans. But it's not a huge problem I guess... You can always just say it is their custom to build houses that large, maybe it's a status thing O_o

The doors may be a little big, but it is okay. I like the new graphics and I like how the players look.

Graal has no future. No future at all.

The new graphics are crap in my opinion, sure they may look appealing but if I wanted a game with those type of graphics I'd be playing kiddie games made by 7th level. The walls and houses look to be images, the only things that look like tiles is the floor under it. The walls are easily seperated from each other thus making them ugly and sloppy. The bodys don't fit with the head nor with the background. People are so easily amused nowadays. ;o

Sure not all is perfect but you should at least look at

Graal is more of comic style than games like UO

Yeah, personally I thought Graal was going downhill in general, and that Stefan, Unixmad and staff in general didn't care about the game anymore, but when they release things like this it is well worth the wait :D

Love g2k2 now, and there still improving it from what you see in the SS, Stefan said there getting rid of the ying/yangs and changing other stuff (its about time!). I think the bodys are fine. The doors may be a bit big but this aint Earth its graal. I will be coming back on graal just to play 2002 :)

Ack, the ying yangs really looked out of place in the screen shots. I think it would be really neat if you had a Graalian in the corner, and each time he was hit he would have some blood on his body. Kind of like Doom I guess.

And Dante, it's not like it matters if anyone knew about it since it started, who cares now? Everyone knows about it now so you can't distinguish between who didn't and who did :)

you should wait until you actually play 2002 before you decide what it is. if after you play then decide, if it still looks like **** , smells like **** and tastes like **** than in your mind it will be ****.

You don't know how freaking sick I am of logging on here and seeing the first page full of 2002 threads. Who CARES? When it comes out, we'll play it. I couldn't care less about it until it does just that.
