Bamboo

bamboo sparring is fun. I wish more people would spar me :(
The spar ratings system shoudl be replaced with one like the bamboo spar system. I don't even know how to read the current one.

It's easy... the first number is a numerical rating. The higher, the better. The second number is "frequency" metric. The lower that number, the more often the person who has it has been sparring. So, an example might be

1743/75
1743 is a pretty good rating. 75 is the lowest possible frequency. So, this person is probably a pretty good sparrer, or just a cheapskate like all the people with high ratings. ^_^
