Light Effects

Ok people. I have been working on adding light effects, and lots of them, yet it is going to become dull and uninteresting if I can't get any more colors in light2.png. Please post colors and mixes that I may use. Thank you. Also: Scripters needed on G1K.

hmm...

(r>g>b) = goldenish brown

(g>r>b) = pear green

(b>g>r) = sky blue

(g>b>r) = forest green

(r>b>g) = hot pink

(b>r>g) = velvet purple

try those, use different numbers for tints

T3CK 11-22-2001 03:22 AM

I have never tried it that way....um.....explain a little more. I use setcoloreffect var,var,var,var;
I'll IM you.

Okay, after much deliberation, here is a revision:
QUOTE:
hmm...

(r>g>b) = goldenish brown RED IS GREATER THAN GREEN AND BLUE.

(g>r>b) = pear green GREEN IS GREATER THAN RED, AND RED IS BIGGER THAN BLUE.

(b>g>r) = sky blue BLUE IS BIGGER THAN GREEN AND RED.

(g>b>r) = forest green Green is bigger......

(r>b>g) = hot pink just the same.....

(b>r>g) = velvet purple Don't you get it by now?

try those, use different numbers for tints
for example, for regular red:
setcoloreffect 1,0,0,.99;
and there you have it, thanks for helping me out guys!

aesquivel 11-28-2001 09:20 PM

what about a neon green like color and dark black

T3CK 11-28-2001 11:51 PM

Neato idea there, I think it would help if we could find something like that, although shoving a "open" sign from Radio Shack into Graal is gonna be kinda hard.
If Rebel were still here, I could imaging the whole scene:

Let's try light effects. Any suggestions? ::raises hand:: Ok, we have a volunteer.
"How about we just ki9ll thejm all?"
"Kill all what, sir?"
"The Manatees!"
ME: "No, I dont think you ought to do that. Next lesson. Billy, show the class how to hand the scissors to jeffy. No, don't do that, no, no NO NO NONO! DON'T RUN!! DON'T RUN!!!! Holy...
"Can we get the Radio Shack Sign Now?"
"NO"
"okay..."
Any Suggestions on how to make neon green and darker colors?

aesquivel 12-05-2001 01:27 AM

people are so retarded wait lets confuse them more:

(r>g>b) <=255

(g>r>b) <=255

(b>g>r) <=255.

(g>b>r) <=255

(r>b>g) <=255

(b>r>g) <=255

inequalities make scripts so easy when you put the shock cord in the plug output. lol. :megaeek:
