Donation Fountain
 

(this belongs in future improvements but more people see it here so I'm a bad boy) ;)

I think there should be a donation fountain.. here you can donate money and maybe items to ANY account.
For example, you walk up to it, and say "donate 50 to konidias" or something, and 50 will be put in maybe a fountain statue.. or in the fountain itself.. and a player can go up and check what has been donated to an account, and take the donations from their account name.

Maybe it could store the items and money in the fountain for a while, and after about 5 days, it would delete the items out, so if the person doesn't get the stuff, it will be removed from the server.. allowing items and things to become more rare and also bring the economy back down to reality instead of everyone having 15000 gralats. :)

Sounds like a good idea. He is also right there are to much money going around. I see people who used to have like 100g now have 10k.

Not trying to sound like a damperer, but yelling at Stefan isn't going to do ANYTHING except aggrivate him.

Might I suggest actually coming up with a basic idea for a new bomy job and submitting it to Stefan?

Stefan should impose taxes on people with 10k or over or maybe even less than 10k something like 8K and the taxes will be given out to newbie accounts or struggling accounts the taxes could be deduced something like once a sylvester or somert.

Konidias...I have been thinking about something like that. My idea = mailboxes, you rent them for 10G a week or somewhat, you can leave money, items, and messages. A way to verbally transfer gralats and apples anywhere is needed, like:


Transfer 40 Gralats WindStar
or
Transfer 200 Apples Konidias


It'd check, when the player speaks and it's a weapon, (first tokenizing #c) if token 0 is transfer, and if so, if the account specified in token 3 is online. If such is the case, and the token-2 item exists in token-1 amount at the sender's end, the amount of the item is removed from the sender and added to the recipient. It might be somehow possible to add a say2 script to the recipient player somehow, so it'd say:

JeffTL
transfered to your account
40 Apples

or whatever.

Sounds Even Better!.

There should also be something in it that the grim_squeaker_x account can always loot everyone's accounts.

I don't have 15000 gralat, I have never had over 500, and even then a friend loaned it to me. :(

I have a version of my script, but I need access to a P2P server to test it...I'll propose that to stefan, all I need is my NPC uploaded privately to Graal2001 and put on my human and bomy accounts. 'Course, I'm not putting the script on the fora, people'd steal it before it's done ;)

The fountain sounds pretty good... but also mabye it should be made that you can just toss in a few Graalats when you pass. It's kinda like throwing a penny into water for good luck. And every now and again some of that money would get i donated to a person who has under a certain amount of Graalats.

I guess it is kinda like a Wishing Well:)

Tax the rich people. Like if they have over a certain amount of gralat, then tax them a certain "%age" every 1-2 weeks.

If they own houses or bomies, tax them personal property tax.
