Bamboo Sticks!
Just added at Samurai Castle! Cool thing to fight with, but I have no idea how to use them.... Can anyone help?
|
To get it out (haha) press D
To Attack Hold D and a Direction To Spin it press and hold D To Stop it Press A or S |
To block: Press and hold g, then hit the arrow key that is opposite of the direction you are facing.
|
I must speak to Stefan about this at once! We have all these visitors at our castle and I don't have enough bread to feed them! Samurai Castle doesn't need a person giving out bamboo! He better leave my castle or else >;(

This will be a disaster like Karakaze Caves when they got the Hug NPC...

Karakaze+hug=not good. |
It's alright, Lyndzey. We'll move it to a dojo in Santerrain. After all, we samurai know many fighting styles- soon the naginata and ninjutsu dojo will go up also.

I don't like the dojo. It seems like a matter of luck whether or not your kick hurts someone. Nifty ganis, though. :) |
Well I have to admit, it's a good step towards role-playing. Maybe we can have some RP battles now :)
|
Bah.. fix it so players can't put it away for 10 seconds.. There are all these idiots pressing D and A really fast so they hit you but can't be hit.. it's stupid.. I had ONE good fight with Kambia and it was actually fun.. otherwise it's just like everything else on graal.. people do whatever it takes to get high points.
First it's ratings by killing you when you aren't sparring Then it's kills by killing newbies Then it's money by scamming and killing Now it's bamboo fighting experience by hitting and hiding. When will it ever end? :( |

Numbers should be taken away. Instead, just have points so we can have contests at times, but no permanent scores.
|
the exp stuffs makes me nervous. Its hard to fight with it and it means nothing but lika spar rating.
|
See Lyndzey I told you our lands were getting overrun by n00bs lol,
anyway OI cant wait for Naganita! |
Loriel was working on it earlyer =)
|
bamboo sticks :O holy crap they are like my favorite weapon i almost want to spoil my brand new reformatted computer by infecting it with the graal virus

All you do, is set a limit, duuuh. But the admins haven't figured it out. |
Just a temporary hits taken would be much better than an experience rating. Besides, why would a person's experience go down when they get hit? Isn't failure supposed to be the best excersise?
Dojo belong in santerrain, because we are all about discipline and practice. Naginata will be cool, I think. |
well the only thing ruining this bamboo experience for me, is that there's this one guy who has 23 experience, and he's hitting me while i'm paused. I'm losing exp, and he's gaining it.
EDITED!!! As soon as I unpaused after making this post, he ran away!!!! |
Make sure to put it away before pausing. :)
|
I don't think there should be a sort of exp
I mean what is the use for it? |

Another thing I noticed, was that LARGE AMMOUNTS of people were following one another(and people who weren't wielding sticks), just to beat them silly!!! #!%#@!% |

Just like kill ratings, spar ratings, etc |
Does anyone know who made this?

I made it so that the stick doesn't hurt people,
but it changes your 'exp' points (experience) which is similar like a spar rating, so you can see who is better. Since it changes quite fast you can use it to determine who is the winner of a 1 min spar fight or so, may be we need some better rating or points system, tell me what you would suggest. Also it would be nice to have some training room where some samurai show you how to use it or so |
