There has to be some form of server software on the graal server - or it wouldnt be a server. LOL.

If there wasnt, there would be nothing which would open the necessary ports 'n stuff on it and so we couldnt connect to it to play this fantastic game.

Nah, I dont think that the newest versions of Graal/Graal2001 like 2.02 are run on Linux. Or run from a type of server like maybe a Delphi-Code server.

Because you probably host it on a old version of Graal like 1.28 Beta 2. Which was made a while ago and Graal has been updated alot so it runs on a Linux server probably. If it is a 2.02 Graal2001 server, it runs on a Linux server that Stefan/Unixmad have on there Computer that runs 24/7.

Exaclty my point. If you have a old version of GServer such as 1.28 or 1.3 then that considering legal. If you have a version of the latest like 2.02 or 2.01 then you could get banned and maybe your account deleted.

1.28 and 1.3 servers are illegal as well.

Stefan told me that even having 1.28 and 1.3 gservers is illeagal too. He told me when there was that DNS problem and no one could connect to the server (ecxept staff), so everyone started 1.28 and 1.3 servers to pass the time.
