I just saw the jumping place... man, stefan, you NEED to make a quest out of that! Hehe. Kind of like Super Mario World :p

SSmutz 04-20-2001 06:19 AM

Omg, the super mario music is stuck in my head again! AHHH!!

FatherDante 04-20-2001 06:20 AM

That script was posted on this forum- or something just like it. Did Stefan take it? Or did he write his own?

Yes damnit!

I was in there jumping around with TrueHeaT and Valder and I was like DAMNIT THIS IS MARIO!

FatherDante 04-20-2001 06:34 AM

I hear some people have been working on a whole server like that. That'd be neat.

MoonAngel 04-20-2001 06:36 AM

lol, i posted the script made by Warren. i dont think Stefan "stole it" but i gave it away to everyone. And Warren's script works great

SSmutz 04-20-2001 06:38 AM

That would be cool. I think Graal is becoming more 3-d with the use of good tiling and good scripting, without using actual 3-d graphics and effects.

FatherDante 04-20-2001 06:40 AM

That's hardly 3d, but Graal is definitely getting better.

Nai 04-20-2001 06:41 AM

I would probably stop playing if it turned into 3-D.

04-20-2001 06:43 AM

The first PW to use the Gravity NPC was Mithica, Warren originally developed the script. We used it in a mario-style spar. And I remember when Stefan saw it hehe....Unfortunatly Warren no longer plays Graal, it's a pity too...he was the best scripter I knew

FatherDante 04-20-2001 06:51 AM

It's quite a piece of work. I guess it's public domain now.

omni-m00gle 04-20-2001 07:08 AM

Mario was my idea..I was massing it and talking with others :(

04-20-2001 07:12 AM

haha
I love that jump 'n' run.
It's sooo much fun :D

HiryuuX 04-20-2001 07:13 AM

They should make it taller and have events to see who can touch some button the fastest :D.

Crono Illusion 04-20-2001 07:14 AM

I was one of the first who got to play it when it was added to Mithica.

MoonAngel 04-20-2001 07:59 AM

yeah hehe, and Penguin, Warren had that idea from Finc and they made it together about 2-3 months ago ; )

That my friend, is called Gloves.

HiryuuX 04-20-2001 08:51 AM

That's one of the funnest Mario games ever, it actually came from some other nintendo game (can't remember the name) but they adjusted it with Mario characters.

The US SMB2 was originally Doki Doki Panic, and Nintendo used it and turned it into SMB2. The true SMB2 is what is known in the US as "Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels".

Thanks to Peach for that information.

Crono Illusion 04-20-2001 12:03 PM

A Doki Doki Panic/SMB2-style Mario game is going to be released for the Game Boy Advance this summer.

manton 04-20-2001 12:06 PM

Chrono, all the one for GBA is,is a clone of Super Mario 2,except with a few added things and a new name.

Crono Illusion 04-20-2001 12:08 PM

I thought it was a sequel, but I was wrong.
