Since there are so many people getting scammed and hackers going through stands i think that there should be a Market Police. These people would have to patrol the market at all times because police are not at the market at all times.

but do the police roam the market all the time and there is no way to prove you got scammed unless the police were there so that is why u have the market police that are always in the market!

Personally, I don't think people want to spend their time walking around the market. Chances are, they will be in the wrong place at the right time and they will miss everything. Then there is the power issue. Do you let them jail? Do you let them clear baskets? The marketplace was designed to eliminate scammers and it has done that successfully. Those who participate in the "free apple" giveaways should know better and those tht walk through walls using a bug or trainers usually get jailed

hmm well i the people who walk through wall usally just sign off right after they do it and the police never belive you and you never get your item back

Stefan has nearly destroyed all forms of stealing items in market now.. Yesterday he added item theft protection, when you drop an item in the stand, no one but you can take it for 30-60 seconds, I'm not sure how long, but it gives you plenty of time to think up a price and put it on the stand now :)
