ET Team: About Announcements!
 

Please stop doing such stupid announcements
(the thing that appears on the web page).
It is for making announcements for upcoming
events not for explaining your personal feelings or
whatever. I hate it when I open the graal2001.com
page and see some stupid text that I cannot even
understand because it is written in like 2 seconds.
Please stop that.

I completely agree. I look at the events post and I see absolutely nothing of worth over 90% of the time.

I barely even look at the events announcements, myself. Almost all the time, it's nothing about events.

The only time I ever announce something is if I am going to do an event the next day.

I agree.
I have been trying to tell them that it should be only for nice large events that are coming up not stuff like "Im sad right now so no events" I also try to let them know to sound more professional such as actually using the word "you" instead of "u"

Im going to punish ET's who abuse it so if they do please write down what they said and send it to me!

This forum was set up, I believe, to announce events and such, aswell as discuss other events. No need in having a .php linked to the main page of the site, and have this forum at the same time. People can always mass out events coming up in 30 minutes or so, and the ETs can plan things coming in a week or so on the forums or in an mIRC chatroom. (AIM, aswell.)


Or another solution: Limit the semi-*****ic Events Admin to being the only one that can post them.

When I was ET Admin, I would post this big important announcement about kingdom games. It was up there for about 30 minutes then Psychu would post something stupid that he was holding at that second ::sigh::

I've never written an Events Announcement.

Its pointless, take it down. No need for it, hardly anyone sees it till its to late anyways. Alot of messages dont even show up!
