question for cheif smart story guy of graal?

if a moon of considerable size crashed into a small planet, wouldnt that completely annihalate the planet and most life on it?

The way I envision it, Graal is really just a huge world (every PW is on it), All the PWs are on seperate continents

Indeed from either the magnetic shockwave from the impact or the radiation which kill anything really in time or if not mutate it

Are you saying that all the humans will mutate now into mutants and gain special powerz and shtuff?

and 2 moons have collided with the planet of Graal, yet there is still forests and people thriving here!

I dunno. I'm sure it might annihilate the all life on the planet, but I'm not sure it would annihalate it. Hell, I didn't even know annihalate was a word!

Okay, okay, cheap shot. Sorry. :p

The thing about the bomy moon is that is actually extremely small. Relative to the size of a human, that moon could be no more than 500 feet in diameter, which is certainly not large enough to annihilate a planet.

Antora, on the other hand...

If you look at the size of the thing and the speed it would have impacted the planet then we would be all dead

so how come that those moonbomy's are so big?

...and since it landed in the river it would have made a tsunami.

FatherDante 10-28-2001 10:53 PM

A little thing like that crashing into a river would not have made a tsunami.

It doesn't make sense that big bomys would come out of a little moon. That's a good fact.

As for speed, all things accelerate at the same speed, and an object like that would fall slower than most dropped objects because of the high resistance because of its size.

Tsunami on Graal would be fun. We'd be on the ships trying to survive while all these places are flooding.

FatherDante 10-28-2001 10:58 PM

Yeah, too bad it would take some kind of impossible scripting. :)

Yea...Tornado would be fun too.

thotijn 10-28-2001 11:10 PM

yes and why also not a earthquake..
and we must rebuild it all,
and if we finished then there comes a tsunami what destroyes it all again..
so that we can do it all over again...fun...:|

TDK_RC15 10-29-2001 07:01 AM

scripting it wouldnt be that hard, Ive seen stuff that somewhat resembles it. I was thinking though that we should have an underground race awakened by the collision of the second moon, that would be cool.

konidias 10-29-2001 08:16 AM

Maybe it's because Graal has a strong ozone layer since there aren't (corrected WASN'T) cars or anything except some building smoke polluting the world.. so the moon would have slowed down and burned up a lot in the atmosphere of the planet.. meaning it's probably just a piece of moon and that's all that's left

TDK_RC15 10-29-2001 08:24 AM

but both moons are huge, and instead of making craders, they made mountains. A crater would be caused by a large meteorite, not a mountain or hill.
