Stretching the limits of scamming?
Even if it was scamming, I know it was legal since there were no observers. But, it's riding on my conscience and I want a little clarification. :)
Now, suppose (hypothetically, of course) that someone --- lets call him Zythar --- needs a bit of cash. However, Zythar (an imaginary figure, of course) doesn't like to work. At the same time, Zythar also does not like scammers. So, Zythar decides to get a bit creative.
Now, suppose Zythar has a bit of bird left over from god-knows-where. Zythar, struck with a stroke of creative brilliance PM's a pseudo-newbie with around 50 hours, telling him he is selling a "pet bird" for 40 gralat (coincidentally, the exact amount said pseudo-newbie has). Zythar further elaborates, saying that the "pet bird" is like a bomy, but can fly over trees and water and doesn't require any food.
Pseudo-Newbie, upon seeing the caged bird (when dropped from the trading item) takes the ploy hook, line, and sinker. He hawks up the cash, and gets the bird in return. Technically, no scamming, in the traditional sense of the word. Just a bit of misinformation.
So, in your eyes, is Zythar a scammer? I --- that is, Zythar had some moral qualms and tried to give the money back, but Pseudo-Newbie had logged off. Oops. Naughty, naughty Zythar. :(
