It is the way SPEED is handled in Rha. Currently, the more speed you have, the faster you go. You move pretty slow at first, but as your speed value gains, you start walking faster, and eventually walk normally.

Now, my proposal for the new system. Players start out with like, 10 Speed. As they equip more armor and stuff, their speed goes down, thus making them walk slower. As they gain levels, their max speed goes up from 10, so they can equip more and not slow down as much. That sound like a good idea?

i think you should add a stamina thing too
like say you can have speed bursts and walk faster but stamina drains and if your stamina is at 0 the speed you move halves

too realistic is not good, it just gets annoying but ur idea is awesome!
