Linux...

...hates me. So I won't be around as much, until Linux decides to detect my modem. Either that or find Linux drivers for it.

just go search around for drivers or go to your computer companys website they should have them. or call the help, bug the hell outa them they will help.

Most of the modems out there today are WinModems. 99.999% of them will not work under Linux. You need special drivers for them.

Yeah, I figured that out Galen lol. So...what I did was format my HD (again) and I'm currently running Windows 98SE (again) so I should come back to post at my usual speed soon ;). Right now though, I'm staring at everything in 2-bit colors while I download my video card's drivers.

windoze! :) But yes, Windows is good. At least, the newer newer versions are. Like 2000 and XP, both are very good operating systems. :) I especially like XP, once it's customized and has lots of XP friendly applications(like Office XP! Haha.)

Redhat is evil because it's harder to use. :) FreeBSD is good. I've heard of something called NoOS that I want to use. :O
