putnpc2 is posible on NPCs servers. Has been for the longest time...

putnpc2 x,y,{
script........
};

works serverside only.

damn i wish it would be on non-p2p

There needs to be a clone x,y; command to copy an NPC to another location. Copies the whole thing word for word, disperses with update unless it makes a database NPC (read: bomy).

Um...I know about putnpc; it's one of my favorite commands. But I can think of a few uses for a clone command. Like if you have a lot of the same light effect, for instance. Have one that putnpcs the others. Saves a lot of creation-time trouble. The Ninja hera on Classic has places where there are a bunch of the same NPC. Could be written to save a lot of trouble...one block, it clones the rest. A DestroyClones command would also be handy, to delete all clones of an object. For instance, in the aforementioned ninja hera block puzzle, when you have an error you could say reset and the master block would DestroyClones and clone itself to new blocks.
