Neato Graphics poll!

Tell us what you use to make your graphics and why!

I use Paint Shop Pro 7.04 for my sprites, because it's better designed for spritework than photoshop, and does everything I could imagine I would ever need ^_^

MS Paint, pixel by pixel animation is the best way.

RawPower 10-06-2001 10:35 PM

I use Paint because it's what I first used to make graphics and my favorite =P

I use PSP to conert the bmps to png and gif.

konidias 10-06-2001 10:44 PM

MSPaint... The characters in my sig, paint.. The graphics I made for Graal, paint..

I make nearly all my art with paint... I don't even have paintshop or photoshop on my computer.. :D

freddyfox 10-06-2001 11:14 PM

I usually use MS Paint.

But I don't have a good .bmp > .gif converter. Suggestions, anyone?

Tin Man 10-06-2001 11:52 PM

oh yeah i use MS Paint for graal drawings and things that dont require that much detail.

Fai 10-07-2001 12:01 AM

Photoshop because I've been using it a long time and I don't feel like learning new things. And its handy dandy.

Try Irfan view, its a very small program that can convert files of many types, and it's free.

[ Delph Inc. ]

Macromedia Fireworks 2
One of the best workshops I've come across...it does everything for you.
It can animate, do Java onmouseover stuff...and heaps more which I have not yet had a chance to muck around with...I think it's better than photoshop and everything as well.

toad1413 10-07-2001 11:08 AM

Photoshop for my sigs, and Microangelo for my emoticons and small images. :)

Valder 10-07-2001 11:10 AM

Toad made me a sig ;D

you can do so much more with Paint Shop Pro, you should use it! And with Paint you have to squint to see the pixels because you can't zoom in very well, you'll go blind if you keep using it! :D

I use Adobe PhotoShop LE....... I know it's a crappy version, but then again, I don't need spiffy effects and crud...

But mainly for graphics work such as bomys and sprites and stuff, I use MS Paint!

here's an example for APS:LE
