My Tree Trunk
 

This is one of my best works. I HAD to show it off. :cool:

I bet it will look even better when it has the top and leaves added :D

Hehe yea, I'm also working on a palm tree but it's not as good as my trunk. I got the leaves done so far =P

Shad, you rock. The only problem is that your GFX will look too real compared to the cheesy graal tiles/characters!

Steps? I mean I copied and pasted what I did so far in the AIM window. I didn't save each step lol. It's not that hard to make it inolves only 7 different colors..

No Offense but your trr trunk looks like the foot of an amphibious creature.. but it is good

I liked it.
It reminded me of games like Seiken Deinstu 3 and Seceret of Mana for some reason.

I remember getting it from some guy's geocities website, he used it as his background. It looked like the living lands Magic The Gathering card, so I took it. The guy's site was an RPG site, mostly covering FF games.
You may think it's gross, but I see life in it.

I shall give you a quick gfx test...
Make a tree trunk, but not an ordinary tree trunk... This tree trunk must be 4x2 tiles in size, and must be covered in moss. The image will be made to look Graal style(bloated, cartoony, you get what I'm saying). :D

I don't have time to draw that. I have to keep working on a top secret project. :D
