Trying to get some use out of battle island.
 

It's smaller and nicer than kingdoms core. It's also larger and better lit than Hotaru spar arena.

I'd like to try to get some genuine use out of it. Starting Saturday (tomorrow) I will try to host at least one round of kingdom versus kingdom sparring each day until next Friday. If not enough people take part it will be cancelled. While I cannot plan an exact time each day, I will aim for between 0:00 and 2:00 server time. Or 7-9PM EST for those who can use American time zones as reference.

Since it will be difficult to determine a win condition (likely the central flag can be captured and lost repeatedly if enough people take part) I will not be offering official event prizes at first.

However, should the playercount be sufficiently improved, it will be feasible to run multiple normal events after (or in place of) these kingdom matches.

Let me know your opinions on the idea, and see if you can't talk amongst your fellow kingdom members and bump up player counts for the next few days.

get rid of battle island and move kingdoms to main.

Put bomb-trade on battle island and get rid of everything else.

You'll get the same average player count.

Nah to make people more active you just need more things to do or make the current things less of a hassle.

make kingdom castles on main <-easier to access

make them capturable <- more things 2 do

There's really no need to make brand new content or use battle island for anything when you could do something that would be 100x better without coming up with brand new content. Having two different pvp modes is stupid and the original one should be fixed instead of concentrating and wasting effort on a second one.

There is no need to make kingdom islands on main as a thing, with the ferry change it's instant access to kingdom islands, therefore no hassle any more.

There's so much empty space on main and so little activity on kingdom islands. With such a low player base everything should be condensed. GK has huge maps but separated they have barely any content so why not merge them and them enhance main. Leave kingdom islands for houses obviously.

The first concern any of you should be having atm is attracthing more players to the server. We are first going to be focusing on bringing actual things to do for players to level and get geared up so pvp is useful. Once we have done that our focus will move more to pvp.
