RC missing weapons?
 

Hi, I just started scripting GS2 and joined a server, but whenever I open rc it seems the weapons button is missing? I'm not sure why, I tried re-installing it, which did not solve the problem. Maybe someone will know why?the problem. Maybe someone will know why? http://i.imgur.com/lKKeCxE.png

You need "NPC-Control" rights and the appropriate folder rights to access scripts on a server, you don't just get them by having an RC.

O thanks, I'll check my rights. But shouldn't the button still display even if you didn't have the edit rights?

It won't display if NC doesn't connect. It will display even if you lack any folder rights, though.

Also, if you're using client rc, you'll find weapons, classes, and database npcs under ths folders section (the icon underneath the playerlist icon..)

How would you solve the problem of NC not connecting :o?

you need the rights for NPC Control.

Someone will also have to give you either read or write rights to the classes and weapons, or a specific subgroup of rights for YOUR exclusive weapons.

Whomever is setting up your RC should know or be familiar with the level of control they want you to have.
