F8 Event System?

Can anyone tell me if this feature is still around? There used to be a tab for events being hosted on particular servers in the F8 menu. I haven't seen it in forever. And if it is still around how would we use it?

Yes, it's still around

It's not very practical imo, you're probably better off scripting your own
