New players issue.
 

The past few days i have noticed players new to GK winding up with no class for their character, somehow it's not starting them at the class selection menu but placing them right in bomboria, could this have been occurring when V6 was started?

Would have liked this thread better if you posted "the problem is there is none!"

Anyways, I logged in a few months ago on a new account with V6 and I think it was working then.

It doesn't really matter if they don't start with a class anyways, because you can learn everything other classes can. It's not like one class has more options than another. You just don't receive starter gear.

Without a class players are not able to cast magic, somehow.
We will fix it as soon as possible.

Also this has happened before without letting people learn literacy so they can't read anything to learn anything either.

I keep telling these people to reset.. The problem is they are just WAY to eager to run out the door and not roll stats, select class or gender.. one noob told me no class was cooler.. =/

I strongly think the entire noob system needs redone because noobs are ending up at bomboria in under 60 seconds. (asumming they probably got task list found one that put them in bomboria and said screw this i wanna be an idler)...

And no this is NOT v6 related issue. its players being idiots issue.

This has been an issue for a while and I mentioned it a couple months ago. When a new player logs on they have to /restart and it will let them choose a class.

I just noticed this the other day when I created a new account for a friend. I told him to /restart and he didn't understand why it did that. Right off the bat new players are seeing things are messed up with the game. No bueno

It is not messed up. Tig made new accounts starting straight in Bomboria instead in the class selection area. Will be fixed soon.
