So i came up with an idea similar to the marriage system, only a little deeper. So one of the biggest things in graal in general is the families right? why not make it so that families are kinda controlled similar to gangs, with their own "gang chat" like say using /tf to direct a message to other family members, idk how easy it would be to also add a family tab in the playerlist, but that would also be a great addition. Thoughts?

see i came up with something i told Fidel to do something different but it would help with the economy and drain more money out constantly from era....
but it was a family system nothing like that guy is proposing but
it would be 100k to do a family with 5 slots then 20k each for 1 more slot then 10k a week to keep it running then it grows higher depends on how big the family is
pretty much a group of friends can have the same tag and pk make era mafia, those little bases where its for family's only and have them compete for things etc. stuff like that just so its not like party's and wouldn't kill gangs but family system can earn points on kills to buy like a family shack for the family to use etc. weapons etc just be fun

the whole purpose would be if a family successful they can eventually become a gang after hard work. I Think would be better then them just giving somebody a gang

marriage system on era would be hilarious because the ~5 real girls that play would taken instantly. it'll be like a real life prison, how fitting.

Why not just make actual civilians in Era?
Make it where you can interact with them in ways like The Sims?
That way you turn Era into a Thug Life Simulator (Ok I can't take that seriously, but it would be pretty cool)

Yeah guys, we have toilets, food, showers, etc, why not utilize that stuff, by implementing Era: The Thug Life Simulator

So our characters can starve, smell like ****, piss themselves, etc and we need to maintain them by walking around the, whats this PKable GMAP, where they need to take care of their daily business with the chance of getting jumped, shot, etc.

Would promote activity and give a new spectrum of possibilities for this game.

I never said families would have Tags and not be able to hurt eachother, what i was suggesting was mostly for communication and other systems could be built around it like a more permanent family lending system and whatnot. It would be similar to a tag i guess as not having your family name on would disconnect you from the system, but family members would still be able to hurt eachother and be in different gangs. It would kind of work as if you were a member of two guilds at once, but one just serves the purpose of communication and whatnot. I am sure this can be enhanced and other features added to this as well.

Also I think the whole "thug life simulator" actually sounds like fun if implemented right lmao. Would have to be its own server though.

Kinda random, but relavent. I could have sworn someone made a messenger system in game that you could use. I remember adding emoticons and random other features. Is that really all you want?

Well not exactly, my idea was to have it work just like gang chat... Only say have the letters be red instead of green or something? Just a way to make families seem kind of usefull, and possibly stir things up again with family rivalries and whatnot.... Although any excitement it adds won't last more than a week. We are pretty much just beating a dead horse at this point.

So its like a buddy list, but for family members?

Here's what I suggest:
- Family appears in your profile
- You can chat with a command /tf
- A simple GUI to invite family members
- You do not get a tag, and their IS friendly fire. (Else it would be like the old gang/party system.)

There should be some sort of way to distinguish family members other than last names, like you could possibly have only one letter of the first name of the character a certain color pertaining to that gang. so it would look likes this:

Willa Diaz, or the sorts, with your three dimensional color schemes.

That chat thing you're talking about Tim was made by Emera if I'm not mistaken and yeah that's kind of a smart idea on Willa's end. I like it all and it would be pretty fun to have.
